Description
With a smooth body, strong chocolatey tones, and hints of syrup and vanilla reminiscent of Hawaiian Kona, this unique coffee is SuperBad to the bean!
In one of Indonesia’s highest elevations, a community of farmers procures the Bali Moon coffee from micro mills, each less than 3 acres in size. These mills sit on Mount Agung’s giant volcanic plateau in the Kintamani highlands, nearly 1,700 meters above sea level. The farmers meticulously sort, de-pulp, and ferment the coffee cherries overnight in a unique process known as wet-hulling. This process leaves the parchment and mucilage on the bean, giving the coffee its distinct earthy flavor.
The next day, farmers wash and strip the cherries before patio-drying them evenly in the sun for 2-3 days. Since Balinese law prohibits the use of pesticides and requires all fertilizers to be 100% organic, you can be sure this delicious gourmet coffee is free from harmful chemicals. It’s not just good—it’s also environmentally friendly.

This BALI flavor is similar to the previously available Hawaiian Ohana flavor. Has a soft smooth taste. Full of hints of fruit and chocolate. Order this in medium roast as light roast may not carry the same flavor that I experienced with the medium.
